There’s something incredibly special about photographing a mom and her baby… even when that “baby” is already one. 💛


This session was all about nostalgia — a gentle throwback to those fleeting newborn days that somehow pass in the blink of an eye. Tiny hands that once wrapped around mama’s finger now explore the world with curiosity. Soft cuddles turn into giggles. Yet somehow, the bond stays exactly the same.


Watching this sweet mom and son together was a reminder of why Mom & Me sessions matter so deeply.

At one, they’re learning to walk, to laugh louder, to express big feelings — but they still melt perfectly into mom’s arms. This session wasn’t about milestones or poses. It was about connection. About preserving that in-between season where they’re no longer newborns… but still so very little.




Mom leaned into the moment, holding him close, brushing his hair back, soaking in every second. And that’s what made this session magic — the quiet moments in between the smiles.


There’s a certain kind of nostalgia that comes with motherhood.


You don’t realize you’ll miss the weight of them in your arms until they start feeling heavier. You don’t realize how fast time moves until you’re already looking back.


That’s why these photos matter.


They freeze a moment that will never come again — not exactly like this. They become the images you look back on years from now and say, “I’m so glad we did this.”
