Baby L made his arrival at 37 weeks through a planned C-section, but that doesn't make the moment any less magical.

As his parents waited to meet him for the very first time, a Taylor Swift playlist filled the room. Then, as Baby L was lifted into the world, the song Enchanted began to play. There couldn't have been a more fitting soundtrack to that moment.

After months of anticipation, phone calls announcing the pregnancy, and countless dreams about the future, their little boy was finally here.

The overwhelming feeling wasn't fear or uncertainty—it was pure enchantment.

Those first moments with a newborn are impossible to fully describe. They are filled with tears, relief, wonder, and a kind of love that arrives all at once and somehow changes everything. During Mr. L's newborn session, you could still see those emotions written all over his parents' faces as they held him close and soaked in every tiny detail.

When I asked what they love most about being parents, the answer came easily: all the cuddles.

It's often the simplest moments that become the most treasured. Tiny fingers wrapped around yours. The weight of a sleeping baby on your chest. Late-night feedings that somehow become memories you'll miss one day.

What surprised them most about parenthood wasn't the sleepless nights or endless diaper changes. It was discovering how quickly their hearts could expand.

"How I can love something so much so quickly."

As a Northern Colorado newborn photographer, I hear many versions of this answer, and it never loses its impact. There is something extraordinary about meeting your child and instantly knowing they have forever changed your life.

Mr. L may look just like his mom, but the love surrounding him comes from every corner of his family. And while his parents joked that Oreos were the pregnancy craving of choice, it's clear that the sweetest thing to come from this journey is the little boy now resting in their arms.

These newborn days pass faster than anyone expects. The sleepy stretches, tiny yawns, and endless cuddles eventually become memories. That's why documenting these moments matters so much.

To Mr. L's family: thank you for allowing me to preserve this beautiful chapter. Your story is filled with love, tradition, and a little Taylor Swift magic—and it was truly an honor to capture it.
