As a Greeley newborn photographer, one of my greatest joys is getting to document those first precious days of life for growing families. Recently, I had the honor of photographing sweet baby Aidan, the newest little one to join this beautiful family.

Aidan’s newborn session was filled with so many special details that made it unique. He has the best big brother, Jameson, who is already stepping into his new role with so much love and pride. Jameson couldn’t wait to snuggle his baby brother, and it was such a heartwarming moment to capture. Watching siblings together during a newborn session is one of the reasons I love Greeley newborn photography—those connections are priceless and timeless.

One of the highlights of Aidan’s session was a surprise outfit from his funny aunt, who lovingly calls him “Turtle.” She brought along the sweetest little turtle outfit, and of course, we had to capture that moment. Seeing Aidan all dressed up in his special outfit had everyone laughing, and it’s a memory this family will cherish forever.

Like many newborns, Aidan reminded us all that you can’t predict your birth story. He was a little stubborn for his momma during the early days, giving his parents a bit of a scare. But thankfully, both mommy and baby are now healthy and thriving, and that’s what truly matters. Moments like these highlight just how precious these sessions are—capturing the beauty of resilience, love, and new beginnings.

This family has had lots of extended family visiting from the East Coast to help with the transition from a family of three to a family of four. The love and support surrounding them has been so inspiring to witness, and I feel so grateful to have been trusted to document such a meaningful season of their lives.
